The fact that our neighbors or people who aren’t related to us at all get hurt instead of us makes angry. And it’s upsetting to see that fans who aren’t sasaeng fans are seen as such because EXO is known for having sasaeng fans.
Member D.O. especially bitterly added “Personally, since there are so many sasaeng fans, I’ve started to feel victimized. And it’s so grave it’s changing my feelings toward regular fans when I see them. My personality has changed. I’ve always somehow been displeased with strangers but because of the sasaeng fans it has worsened”.
EXO is known for having lots of sasaeng fans. If you type their name in a search engine, you’ll see lots of stories about sasaeng fans. Because of the sasaeng fans who come to find them in front of their dorms, their company and of course their houses, the members are disgusted. There are even extreme [sasaeng fans] who obtained their personal phone numbers and called them at night.
The leader, Suho, complained by saying : “I hope you will only come to find us in official places such as concert venues or stages. We’re of course thankful to see you’re passionately supporting us but we also have a personal life. If you love us I hope you’ll refrain from being sasaeng fans”
EXO who debuted last April ranked first on all the music programs with their song ‘Wolf’ that was released in June and is currently following up with ‘Growl’.
